Application Process
There are two ways to present candidates:
- Candidates can apply themselves for nomination using the online application form.
- Also third parties may propose a candidate for nomination using the same online application form.
Selection Process
Nomination. The Board of the Future for Nature Foundation and the Chair of the independent Future for Nature Award Selection Committee will review the applications and select twelve nominees for the Award. These nominees will be requested to provide further evidence on performance and on projects.
Selection of Award winners. The Selection Committee will review this further evidence and proposes three winners to the Board of the Future for Nature Foundation. The Board then decides upon and announces the winners. The Board will also contact the winners in order to prepare for the Future for Nature Conference, at Burgers Zoo, Arnhem, the Netherlands.
